CASC History

The facility at Horseshoe Pond was built in 2004 to accommodate the needs of a growing community. The Concord Ambulatory Surgery Center was designed within the facility and is housed on the 3rd floor of the Medical Offices at Horseshoe Pond.

The Concord Ambulatory Surgery Center is a Limited Liability Corporation formed between Concord Otolaryngology, Capital Region Ventures Corporation, Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, as well as other physician owners.

We opened in October 2004 and did just under 250 cases in its first fiscal year. Our volume has since grown to between 2000 and 2500 cases per year.
